Sam Bradford, Ndamukong Suh endure poor jersey sales
In the 2010 NFL Draft, University of Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford and University of Nebraska defensive lineman were taken first and second-overall by the St. Louis Rams and Detroit Lions, respectively.

Bradford’s career has never truly taken off, leading to his trade by the Rams to the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason. Meanwhile, Suh has been one of the best players in the sport since his draft day, and signed this offseason with the Miami Dolphins.
However, despite Suh’s success, both Bradford and the All-Pro Suh are not getting the job done in the jersey department. According to Dick’s Sporting Goods, if you reordered the 2010 NFL Draft by jersey sales over their first six seasons in the league, Bradford would rank 52nd while Suh checks in 53rd.
It is surprising that Suh is not higher on the list. Suh has been a superstar and a controversial one at that while playing for the Lions. Then you factor in that Detroit has not had a great defensive player since the days of Dick LeBeau and Lem Barney, and one would imagine that Suh’s jerseys would be flying off the shelves.
Bradford being way off the pace is not shocking by any measure. Bradford has been on a bad football team with a questionable fan base in St. Louis. On top of that, Bradford has also been hurt each of the past two seasons, dealing with a torn ACL each time. It’s tough for people to spend money on Bradford, when it seems the next snap could be his last.
