Cardinals’ Cory Redding tried to hurdle Lions quarterback Matt Stafford after intercepting him.

We all love seeing the bigger football players getting to do things out of the ordinary, like scoring touchdowns. Arizona Cardinals defensive end Cory Redding took things a step further after intercepting Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Redding was streaking down the sideline when Stafford came to make a tackle. Redding channeled his inner Le’Veon Bell and tried to hurdle Stafford.

This is a man who weighs roughly 300 pounds taking to the air to leap over a defender trying to make a play happen. He very easily could’ve ran out of bounds, or tried to truck Matthew Stafford and lower his shoulder.

I mean seriously, look at this ridiculousness.

Had Redding landed, he would’ve scored the most epic fat guy touchdown of all time. In fact, we should all root against Stafford for robbing us of that joy.

Got to give it up to Redding for even attempting the hurdle in the first place.
