Dallas cop pulls Christine Michael over to take a picture (Photo)

Dallas running back Christine Michael was pulled over on his way to the Cowboys game, but it’s not what you think.

Whenever you hear about a Dallas Cowboys player getting involved with a police officer, it’s usually quickly followed by Jerry Jones paying someone off. But that’s not the case for running back Christine Michael, who was pulled over on his way to AT&T Stadium on Sunday ahead of the Cowboys game against the Patriots.

Usually — and historically over the last 25 years — whenever we hear about the Cowboys and the long arm of the Texas law, it ends very poorly. That’s why everyone held their breath when it was reported that Michael was pulled over this afternoon.

Michael posted about the encounter with a Dallas officer on his Instagram account — which still didn’t make cowboys fans feel great until they actually looked at what he had posted. Rather than this being another Cowboys player getting into trouble, Michael reported that he was pulled over so a cop could take a photo with the running back.

This seems like an improper way to go about utilizing your authority as a police officer, but you aren’t going to hear anyone in Dallas complain about a player encounter with a cop that isn’t negative.
