Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles left the game with a knee injury, but is his season over?
The Kansas City Chiefs’ season and offense took a hit when running back Jamaal Charles went down with a knee injury. It was a non-contact injury and looked like Charles’ leg buckled when he planted his right leg in an attempt to cut.
Charles left the game and won’t return against the Chicago Bears. The extent of the injury has yet to be determined, pending more tests.
No surprise, but the Chiefs have officially ruled RB Jamaal Charles out for the game with a knee injury.

That leaves Chiefs fans and fantasy owners wondering what the early prognosis is for Charles and is his season over?
Many seem to think that it is an ACL injury, which would end Charles season.
Anytime I see a no contact knee injury where the guy just crumples I always think ACL. I hope that's not the case for Jamaal Charles

The eye test would indicate that it is indeed an injury that will end Charles season. A report from NFL insider Ian Rapoport validifies those fears and a source says initial tests are indicating an ACL tear.
The immediate fear is that #Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles tore his ACL, source says, based on initial tests. He'll have an MRI to learn more.
