Greg Hardy hasn’t really shown that he’s remorseful for what he did, and quite frankly, Jim Nantz was fed up
Sunday afternoon when the Dallas Cowboys took on the New England Patriots, despite all the other stars on the field, most eyes were fixated on one man, Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy. After serving a four-game suspension for his domestic violence incident, Hardy was making his debut as a member of the Cowboys, the team that decided to take a chance on him when really not a lot of other teams would.
Of course, as we saw this week Hardy is really anything but remorseful for why he has been kept away from football. He made some pretty stupid comments to the media, and then we saw his “rap” video that was pretty disturbing.
In the first quarter on Sunday, Hardy was able to get in on a sack of Tom Brady and he took his selfishness a step further by celebrating. Sure, there’s nothing wrong with celebrating on the field for the most part, but when you need your image repaired, then it is a problem.
Afterwards, however, veteran broadcaster and one of the more respected people in the media business, Jim Nantz, laid into him and let him have it.
Nothing that Nantz said there was wrong. None of it.
