Seahawks defensive lineman Michael Bennett takes cheap shot at Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton after an interception.
Whenever an NFL quarterback throws an interception, he immediately has to worry about defensive players eager to get a shot on him under the guise of blocking. When Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton threw an interception to Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas, defensive lineman Michael Bennett went after the passer.
Not only did he knock Dalton to the ground, which was probably enough, he then went after Dalton once again while he was already downed.
Completely excessive and unnecessary.

In reality, Bennett did his team more damage than good. He was called for a penalty on the play and negated Thomas’ 70-yard return to put the Seahawks inside their own 20-yard line.
Dumb penalty on Michael Bennett negated Earl Thomas' amazing interception return. #BengalsVsSeahawks

I appreciate the passion, Michael Bennett, but you are killing us, dude. That stupid penalty cost the #Seahawks points.
