Tyrod Taylor ran straight over one of the Titans coaches
The Buffalo Bills offense was stifled in a major way in the first half of their Week 5 game against the Tennessee Titans. Buffalo couldn’t run the ball and quarterback Tyrod Taylor didn’t have success through the air, either. What Taylor did succeed in, though, is running right over one of the Titans coaches on the sideline after being pushed out of bounds.
Scrambling outside of the pocket trying to just pick up some yardage, Taylor got pushed out of bounds and had a pretty good amount of forward momentum going. One Titans coach either didn’t realize this or didn’t care because he stood right in Taylor’s path and took a big shot from the quarterback:
More than anything, I’m impressed by that somersault and how the coach just hops back up onto his feet; that’s not a particularly easy feat, especially after you just took a hit from a professional football player.
It’s also nice to see Taylor extend his hand to the coach and make sure he was fine rather than just walking away apathetically. I suppose it’s the least that the quarterback could do after he just wrecked that coach’s world. Maybe Taylor and the Bills can run over actual defenders in the second half rather than just truck sticking the coaching staff.
