Washington Wizards forward Otto Porter put a twist on the saying, “dribbling through defenders.”

Washington Wizards forward Otto Porter pulled out a move you’d see more in Harlem than on an NBA basketball court and teammate Dwight Gooden couldn’t believe it.

Porter pulls out a nifty behind the back dribble but loses it as a player from Paschoalotto Bauru, a Brazillian team, closes in on him. Instead of dribbling out, Porter decides to dribble through. Calm, cool and collected, Porter finds an opening between the legs of #15 and drives it to the basket for an ‘and one’.

The sleek move isn’t the only entertaining thing here – check out Gooden on the bench. As soon as he see’s Porter go through the legs of another player he immediately touches the ground to either make sure this is real or help himself up. Once standing, his hands go immediately for his head as he struggles to comprehend what just went down.

NBA benches are known for their reactions to sizzling moves on the court and Gooden has one of the first great ones of the season.

This isn’t the first time Porter has made internet rounds for a highlight reel. A few may remember his own “mind blowing” moment.

It’s clear that Porter is ready to step up his game and take his team to the next level. The Wizards look to return to the playoffs this year with a similar cast to the year before.

Though Paul Pierce is gone, the Wizards still retained John Wall, Bradley Beal, Marcin Gortat and Otto Porter – who figures to play a larger role with Pierce gone and his game matured.
