Ahmad Bradshaw will suit up again for the Indianapolis Colts this season, signing a one-year deal to remain with the team in 2015.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Indianapolis Colts have agreed to a one-year deal with veteran running back Ahmad Bradshaw. Bradshaw has played in Indianapolis the last two seasons, after spending his first six in the league with the NFC’s New York Giants.

Bradshaw had appeared in only 13 games in two seasons with the Colts, after being on two Super Bowl Championship teams with the New York Giants (2007, 2011). The Colts seem to like Bradshaw’s familiarity with organization, as the Colts are looking for some spark on offense.
Starting quarterback Andrew Luck’s health has kept him out of the last two weeks, but the Colts offense isn’t exactly setting the NFL on fire with the acquisitions of wide receiver André Johnson from Houston or running back Frank Gore from San Francisco.
Don’t expect the signing of running back Ahmad Bradshaw to transform the Colts’ offense overnight, but his familiarity with Offensive Coordinator Pep Hamilton’s system and Bradshaw’s inherent versatility could stand as a potential flint stone to spark the Colts in some capacity.
