Greg Hardy claims to be invincible after return

Greg Hardy returned to the NFL on Sunday but he still hasn’t stopped saying stupid things
Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy has been outspoken since returning to the field after a four-game suspension for domestic abuse, and he engaged in some trash talk against New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Although the Cowboys were demolished, 30-6, Hardy had a solid game with two sacks and five quarterback hits. He has since doubled down on his brash nature.
The Cowboys defensive end had previously said that he would come out with guns blazing, and he even made questionable comments that he hopes Brady’s wife, Gisele Bundchen, and her friends would attend the game in Dallas. Despite his controversial reputation, Hardy has been a valuable asset on the field since starting his career with the Carolina Panthers.
Hardy broke out in 2013 with 15 sacks for the Panthers, but he was suspended in 2014 for most of the season due to an incident involving him allegedly assaulting his girlfriend at the time. Despite his talent and value as a pass rusher, Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett revealed that he spoke with Hardy and talked about how the team expects more from him in the character department.
“Well, we just addressed that immediately. That’s not how we want to operate as an organization. Players and coaches in our organization understand that. We want to distinguish ourselves with our play, not with what we say. We want to define ourselves by what we do, not by what we do,” Garrett said, according to USA Today.
The Cowboys will be looking to receive all the help they can on defense though, as quarterback Tony Romo and wide receiver Dez Bryant continue to sit out with injuries. Inside linebacker Rolando McClain has returned from a four-game suspension for a substance-abuse policy violation. It remains to be seen whether he and Hardy can stay out of trouble throughout the rest of their Cowboys careers.
