57. One of the biggest debates surrounding the mediocrity of the Chicago Bears is the source of their struggles. Is it the dismantling of the defense from it’s glory days of being a strong unit, is it Jay Cutler and his propensity to make errors or is it the offensive line making Cutler fear for his life on a daily basis?
Well with the investment made to Cutler and the lack of replacements on the market at the moment, the best bet is to try and keep him up right he can take advantage of Alshon Jeffery and Kevin White, their first-round draft pick from last year. The best option for the Bears in the draft this year is Michigan State tackle Jack Conklin.

He has prototypical size at 6’6″ and 318 pounds and can play either on the left or right side of the offensive line. He is solid in both run and pass blocking and with good foot work and hand usage. He can move well laterally and uses a wide stance to anchor himself against power rushers.

He might not be freakishly athletic to be an all-time great, but he has the potential for some Pro Bowl seasons and to be an anchor for years to come.
.
