Philadelphia Flyers fans chant ‘She said no’ at Patrick Kane (Video)

Patrick Kane became the butt of Philadelphia Flyers’ fans taunting, as they chanted “she said no” during their victory over the Chicago Blackhawks.
Chicago Blackhawks winger Patrick Kane played a major role in the Blackhawks’ 2015 Stanley Cup championship run, but he has since endured a tumultuous offseason due to allegations of rape. This involved him meeting a woman at a nightclub and taking her to his house, where she maintains that he raped her. The investigation is still ongoing, so no charges have officially been filed yet. However, this has not stopped fans of opposing teams from taunting the Blackhawks star about his alleged sexual assault.
Philadelphia Flyers fans referenced this and chanted “she said no” whenever the Blackhawks winger touched the puck during the Flyers’ 3-0 victory.
The Blackhawks have gotten off to a relatively slow start this season, as they currently hold a 2-2 record while defending their championship. The NHL season just started, but the Blackhawks will not have an easy time protecting their title as long as Kane is under accusations of rape. It remains to be seen when the investigation will end.
Kane has been a vital part of the Blackhawks’ recent success, and he has scored at least 21 goals in each of his first eight seasons. He has helped lead the Blackhawks to three Stanley Cup titles in the last six seasons while scoring 29 goals over the course of those championship runs. He has also added 40 assists while being a perfect complement to captain Jonathan Toews.
However, his recent allegations only add to his checkered past. He was previously in trouble for allegedly punching a cab driver, and he was charged with disorderly conduct while avoiding second-degree robbery and fourth-degree criminal mischief. Kane’s sexual assault allegations are sure to damage his career and reputation if they turn out to be true though.
