Arizona State Sun Devils vs. No. 4 Utah Utes
No team in the country has seen a bigger rise in the ranks than the No. 4 Utah Utes who have gone from a perceived middle-of-the-pack Pac-12 squad to begin the year to a top-notch team nationally ranked in the top-five.
Who would have thought Devontae Booker and Travis Wilson would be part of a serious playoff contender midway through the year.?Wilson has been solid, but not overly-productive. He has 683 yards and five touchdown passes.
Booker is having himself a solid year as well. He has 665 yards and six touchdowns on the season and already has a solid highlight film for himself. Utah will need much more offense than they normally put up, though, as the Sun Devils of Arizona State can be dangerous.
Mike Bercovici has one of the better arms in college football and he has shown that this year, passing for 1,604 yards, 14 touchdowns and four touchdowns. Although Jaelen Strong is gone, D.J. Foster might be the most dangerous weapon on the team if he’s playing to his potential. Expect him to get involved in both the pass and run game.
Demario Richard, though, will have the biggest impact in the run game for the Sun Devils as he’s rushed for 529 yards and four touchdowns this year.
Don’t sleep on the Sun Devils in this one, folks. It’s going to be closer than you think.
