As you would expect, Colts fans had an epic troll ready for Tom Brady
Anyone planning to watch Sunday Night Football between the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts knew that Deflategate was going to be brought up by the commentary team and the fans quite a bit. However, no one could have guessed that a couple of Colts fans would have such a perfect troll for Tom Brady and the Pats.
As we all know, Brady allegedly destroyed his phone during the Deflategate investigation, leading to much criticism of the Patriots’ quarterback. A duo of Colts fans in attendance on Sunday night let everyone know that they found the mysterious phone:
In case you can’t see, the phone screen on the sign features a conversation between Brady and Jim McNally, one of the men implicated for deflating the balls in the AFC Championship Game. McNally asks if these look right and then there’s a picture of a severely flat football. Brady responds with a heart-eyed emoji and two thumbs up.
This is the perfect way to troll Brady and New England because it breaks away from the clichés. There are probably thousands of signs making deflate puns around Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday night. However, none of those thousands have the comedic or troll value of this sign.
