Philadelphia was supposed to be one of the best teams in the National Football League in 2015. The Eagles remade the team in the offseason, spearheaded by head coach/front office guru Chip Kelly. Kelly rid the team of running back LeSean McCoy, receiver Jeremy Maclin, offensive linemen Todd Herremans and Evan Mathis, cornerback Cary Williams and quarterback Nick Foles. Kelly then brought in Sam Bradford, DeMarco Murray, Kiko Alonso and Byron Maxwell.

The result has been nothing short of highly disappointing. The Eagles are 2-3 and generally pathetic on offense. Bradford has not been able to get on track since coming over from the St. Louis Rams, mostly because of a shoddy offensive line. Philadelphia has also been spotty on defense, costing it divisional losses to the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins.

New York lost its first two games against the Atlanta Falcons and Cowboys, but has since been able to get on the right path. The Giants have beaten the Buffalo Bills, San Francisco 49ers and Redskins, and now have a chance to take a two-game lead in the NFC East.

Victor Cruz is still out as he recovers from a torn patellar sustained last year in Philadelphia. However, Odell Beckham Jr. is active after being questionable throughout the week. He will be matched up against Maxwell, who was paid $63 million this offseason to get the job done.
