Jamie Collins was a good example on Sunday night of why you go all out on every play of the game with this block
Most of the time when you see someone kick an extra point, it looks as if the opposing team really isn’t trying to get the block. A lot of times, even with the new rules, extra point are seen as givens and some guys just pack it in. Well, Jamie Collins of the Patriots is not one of those players. He’s actually the exact opposite.
Sunday night late in the game between the Patriots and Colts, Andrew Luck was able to lead the Colts down the field and into the end zone, cutting the lead to 34-27. Of course, they set up for the extra point, but they probably didn’t see what would come next.
Collins went absolutely all out, hurdling anything in front of him to clock the point after.
Now that right there, kids, is why you go all out on every play of the game in football. Mr. Collins here sets a pretty good example and you should follow this promptly. Never ever give up on the extra points.
Also, this was just downright awesome. Not quite Kam Chancellor level, but awesome nonetheless.
