Jrue Holiday hasn’t been healthy for awhile, but when he is healthy the guy has the ability to play like an all-star. His defense is solid and he can score, but more important than that is how creative he is with distributing the ball. Take this pass to his teammate Kendrick Perkins for example.
Now if there’s one thing Perkins is known for it’s not his skills down low in the post, but Holiday still had to get rid of the ball somehow. He couldn’t afford to give it to Perkins, so Holiday did one better by bouncing it off the big man back to himself. Very crafty of him indeed. Unfortunately he missed the jumpshot on the follow up, but he at least got an open look out of it. Look for Holiday to bring this one back in the regular season. Keep your hands down Perk. The defense will never see it coming.
