Ryan Fitzpatrick-New York Jets (11.3%)

The Jets have been impressive riding some serious momentum early in the season, and they’ve even gotten some FitzMagic help from their heavily-bearded Harvard QB.  Since getting the job thanks in part to a sucker punch in the Jets’ locker room, Fitzpatrick has led the team to a 4-1 start and has proven he can be a fantasy football option.

In every game since week 1, Fitzpatrick hast thrown for at least 200 yards and has multiple touchdowns in four of his five games.  He added a rushing score his last week against the Redskins when he finished with 31 yards on the ground giving him two straight weeks with at least 30 yards rushing.  He did struggle in the Jets’ only loss in which he threw three picks to the Eagles.

This week, the Jets will be pumped up for a big game at New England as they visit the Patriots and try to move into a tie for the lead in the AFC East.  Fitzpatrick will be forced to take to the air since the Patriots will put up points, and New England’s secondary has give up multiple passing TD’s to Tyrod Taylor, Blake Bortles, and Andrew Luck in his first game back from injury.  I think after some garbage time production, Fitzpatrick will actually be a solid play this week and as a one-week pickup, he’s the option that I like the most who is widely available
