ESPN College GameDay signs: Best of Week 8 Richmond at James Madison

ESPN’s College GameDay took a break away from the big dogs on Saturday to pay a visit down to Harrisburg, Virginia for a matchup between the James Madison Duke Dogs and the Richmond Spiders.

James Madison has been putting a whooping on anyone and everyone bold enough to stand in its way. Elon found out the hard way last weekend, losing 51-0. Towson fell the week before, 51-30. Even the larger programs have been put six-feet under – SMU lost 48-45 at the end of September.

In comes the Richmond Spiders to try and disrupt the Duke Dogs’ homecoming festivities. After losing their first contest to Maryland, the Spiders have rolled through the competition. They play stout defense – only allowing more than 21 points one time this year – and look to ground JMU’s prolific offense. It’s a classic immovable object, irresistible force matchup.
