College Football Rankings 2015: Week 9 AP Poll rankings released

Week 8 of the college football season is now in the books, so let’s have a look at the AP Poll for Week 9

We all came into Week 8 of the college football season not really expecting all that much, and boy were we wrong. Week 8 of the college football season brought us all the excitement and chaos that we could have asked for, meaning that there will be a shakeup in the AP Poll for Week 9.

For weeks it seemed as if the Utah Utes were destined to eventually win the Pac-12 and make their way to the College Football Playoff. They looked like maybe the best team in the entire country, but that all came to an end on Saturday when they were throttled by the USC Trojans on the road. Now, we’re not so sure what to make of this Utah team that once had everyone convinced they were great.

Then we have what happened to the Florida State Seminoles at the hands of Georgia Tech, who blocked a last-second field goal attempt and returned it for the touchdown and the win. The ‘Noles’ playoff hopes are now more than likely out the window and it’ll be interesting to see how far the voters drop them.

All of that said, a short time ago the AP Poll for Week 9 of the college football season was released and let’s have a look at where we stand.
