Cowboys vs Giants preview, prediction, betting odds, live stream info
Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants
Bad luck has struck the Dallas Cowboys thus far in 2015 as starting quarterback Tony Romo was knocked out in week two after a collarbone injury and Dez Bryant has also been out for numerous weeks, though the team hopes to get him back next week. Do the Cowboys have enough offensive firepower to contend with a team like the New York Giants?
Eli Manning started the season red-hot, but has cooled a bit in recent weeks. It might have something to do with the nagging injury of Odell Beckham Jr. but one thing is for sure, the Giants need him to play better if they want a shot at maybe surprise contending for another Super Bowl. New York definitely has the upper-hand at QB in this one as the Cowboys are starting Matt Cassel for Brandon Weeden.

Keys to Victory
Dallas Cowboys
Honestly, you can’t ask much from Cassel in his first game of the season as he likely won’t be much of a threat through the air with limited options and rust still to brush off. Christine Michael is a name to watch for on offense, though. The third-year running back will likely get a bulk of the carries in the backfield as Joseph Randle had left much to be desired as starter.
Forcing Manning to turn the ball over and making him uncomfortable in the pocket almost always results in wins for the opposition. If the Cowboys can win the turnover battle, that will put the game in their favor.
New York Giants
Although it should go without being said, the Giants need to force Cassel to be uncomfortable in his first start of the season. The turnover battle looms large for both sides as this one might be ugly just because both quarterbacks seem prone for turnovers, even though Eli has been much better this season.
A healthy Beckham Jr. could be the real difference, though, as the second-year receiver is an absolute game-changer and a guy who could really take over this one. Manning will try to get him the ball as much as possibly, but it depends on which passes actually reach him that will determine the Giants’ success.

Prediction
Matt Cassel’s 2015 debut with the Cowboys won’t be a pretty one as it will be obvious that rust is still there. The veteran quarterback will throw a couple of untimely picks and the Giants’ offense will put up 20 points in the first half, looking like a clear runaway favorite. The Cowboys will make it interesting late, though.
Final Score: Cowboys 20, Giants 27
