Well, if you were someone that believed veteran running back Chris Johnson didn’t have much gas left in the tank, well, on Monday night you were proven very wrong. Johnson still has a lot left to give and the Baltimore Ravens found that out the hard way.
In the first quarter of the Monday Night Football showdown between the Arizona Cardinals and the Ravens, the Cardinals were driving following a Ravens field goal. They were able to get into Baltimore territory and that’s where Johnson and the Cardinals struck.
From 26 yards out, watch Johnson just flat out abuse the Ravens’ defense for this amazing touchdown run.
Yeah, that doesn’t look like a running back that doesn’t have anything left to give. That looks like a running back that is on a mission to show that he has much more, and he will show that by helping a team that can potentially win a Super Bowl.
Also, this goes to show the sad state the Baltimore defense is in right now. This isn’t the Ravens defense of old, that’s for sure.
