Jason Garrett: Greg Hardy won’t be disciplined for outburst on Cowboys sideline
By Jack Crosby
Greg Hardy had quite the tantrum on Sunday, but Jason Garrett says that he won’t face any discipline
While the Dallas Cowboys suffered their fourth consecutive loss on Sunday, that was not the biggest story coming out of New York. No, the biggest story coming out of New York was the drama surrounding none other than Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy. First, there was the altercation with Dez Bryant, then later in the evening, it was revealed that he slapped the clipboard out of the hands of the team’s special team’s coordinator.
After learning of all that went down on Sunday, the outcries were all over the place, including a lot of people calling for the Cowboys to call a spade a spade and send Hardy packing for his antics.
Well, not only will Hardy not be cut, but according to head coach Jason Garrett, he won’t face any discipline whatsoever for his little tirade.
This is just another aspect of this situation that will evoke a lot of negative emotions from people. By all rights, after what happened on Sunday and knowing Hardy’s history, he really should be out of a job sooner rather than later. Instead, he’s going to get a stern talking to –if he even got that– and will be allowed to move along as if nothing ever happened.
