With a full slate of games in the books, here are NFL power rankings for Week 7.

Monday night’s game was the perfect illustration of two teams at opposite ends of the winning spectrum. Arizona, a good team, found ways to win, and was able to collect itself when things seemed to be slipping away. Baltimore, a bad team, did enough to keep it close but ultimately lose.

This has been quite an interesting season to date. There is a tiny subsect of high profile franchises, followed by a severe drop-off in terms of performance. The Bengals, Broncos, Packers, Panthers and Patriots have all played peerless football. The Cardinals and Falcons are flawed, but excellent. After that it’s a melange of injured good teams, unsteady surprises and the downright lowly.

Spinning forward to Week 8, and there are a few statement games. The Patriots/Dolphins affair will prove the true mettle of Dan Campbell’s reinvigorated franchise. The Packers and Broncos will both lay undefeated records on the line. And the Carolina Panthers and Indianapolis Colts take Monday Night Football looking nothing like what either team was projected as during the offseason (Carolina for better; Indy for worse).
