This offseason, the Dallas Cowboys signed defensive end Greg Hardy to a one-year deal. The idea was that Hardy, who was coming off a 15-game paid suspension for his legal troubles involving his alleged assault of a then-girlfriend, would be on his best behavior.

Instead, Hardy has been a total punk. The questionable character began his Cowboys career (technically, his Cowboys career began with a four-game suspension) by talking about Tom Brady’s wife, then by releasing a rap video involving guns and women. Last week, Hardy was a tool on the sideline, slapping a clipboard out of a coordinator’s hand while arguing with teammates, including Dez Bryant.

On Tuesday night, New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall talked about Hardy during his weekly spot on Showtime’s Inside The NFL. Marshall, who has widely acknowledged his struggles with mental health, spoke on the latest proceedings, per ESPN.

"“When I look at Greg and how he’s handled himself, on the field and in the locker room, I see a guy that is not aware,” Marshall said during a discussion on Showtime’s “Inside the NFL” that was broadcast Tuesday night. “He doesn’t understand the magnitude of what happened last year, what he did and the atmosphere surrounding the NFL.“I don’t think that he gets it. I don’t think that he learned his lesson. And he really needs to look himself in the mirror and ask himself, ‘What type of person do I want to be?'”"

Dallas should cut this clown on the spot, but owner Jerry Jones and his son, Stephen, couldn’t be any happier with all of the press the team is receiving. Never mind that Dallas is 2-4 and looking more and more like a dysfunction mess with Hardy at the eye of the storm, the clippings are rolling in which is good for business. In fact, Stephen has recently talked about extending Hardy, something that has to make every Cowboys fan start crying.
