As is a tradition in the NFL, the rookies of the Washington Redskins had to flip a very large bill at a steakhouse in Washington D.C.

Rookie hazing can happen in various ways. It can be carrying another player’s shoulder pads, wearing an embarrassing costume, mowing someone’s lawn and the list goes on and on. Another classic tradition that veterans do to the young players of the NFL is taking the rookies out for a very expensive dinner and sticking them with the bill.
Well after a big win over the weekend, the Redskins went out for a very nice steak dinner and the rookies had to cover the very massive tab of the team.
At dinner, the team racked up a bill that came out to $22,159.04 after gratuity was added onto the bill.
After the meal, Terrance Knighton, the massive 354-pound defensive lineman, took to Twitter to show how pleased he was with his meal. There’s no word on what he had, but he might have put a quarter of that bill down himself.
With a team of 53 guys, the bill probably could have been way higher, but still the check is absolutely insane. For the rookies’ sake, hopefully everyone chipped in and cut the costs down among themselves as much as possible.
