One of those things, a myth of culinary proportions, came to light this week and has changed the way we eat chips.
A Reddit user posted on Wednesday that they had found the holy grail of chips in a bag — an entire potato.
There are legends about this type of thing that you hear but don’t believe. It’s the Loch Ness of food stories, yet here we are with proof that this sort of thing is possible.
Is it a hoax — perhaps.
Does that matter — not really. It’s easy to fake a whole potato in a bag of chips, but you have to be pretty committed to the bit to deep fry one to sell this as a real thing. It’s not often that we come across this sort of thing but it gives us all hope that we’re not just buying bags of chips in vein anymore — this all means something.
