The Kansas City Royals did what they failed at last year, which is claiming Game 1 of the World Series at Kauffman Stadium. Tuesday night’s game was about as dramatic as things get, both from on-field and off-field aspects.

On the diamond, the Royals and New York Mets went back and forth, filling every inning full of drama. Errors, timely hitting and clutch pitching all made for a game that pushed well into extra innings before the Royals capped it in 14.

Off the field there was a moment of panic for the FOX crowd as the television signal went down in the middle of the game. It’s only the Fall Classic, no big deal. Replays were disabled for a bit, and TV was forced to use the Internet stream. Not quite the Earthquake Game of 1988, but still pretty bizarre. Lord only knows what Game 2 will bring.

So where can you watch the first game of the World Series and when will it all go down?
