When you play football, the general rule of thumb is you want to snap the ball to your quarterback. The Miami Dolphins apparently did not get the memo, and have decided that getting the ball past Ryan Tannehill is going to be the objective of the day.
When you snap the ball out of shotgun and the quarterback isn't expecting the ball yet.

The play made Tannehill make this face:
Yes, this is a road game for Miami, taking on the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium on Thursday Night Football. However, New England is known as having one of the quietest crowds in the league. We are not talking about Lambeau Field, or Mile High Stadium, or Arrowhead Stadium, or CenturyLink Field. This should not be all that difficult, but center Mike Pouncey fired that bad boy right past Tannehill’s right hand anyway.
Miami is trailing 9-0 in the second quarter but is being badly outplayed. The Patriots have had their way for the majority of the evening, including a 47-yard touchdown strike to All-Pro tight end Rob Gronkowski on their first drive of the game.
New England is 6-0 and trying to put away the AFC East before Thanksgiving. Miami is currently sitting in third place, riding a two-game winning streak at 3-3, following the ousting of head coach Joe Philbin. Interim head coach Dan Campbell has brought intensity to a previously lifeless club, but on Thursday, the Dolphins are lacking in every department.
