New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady went through plenty this offseason. The 38-year-old dealt with the slings and arrows of DeflateGate, and now he’s back in fine form, showing that he has not lost a step.
Brady has New England at 7-0 after beating the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football at Gillette Stadium, and did so in fine fashion. Brady was able to torch a good Dolphins defense, throwing four touchdowns while completing 26-of-38 passes for 356 yards.
The final touchdown pass went to Julian Edelman, a throw gunned into traffic.

For the season, Brady has thrown 20 touchdowns against one interception. Considering we are only seven games into the campaign, the future first-ballot Hall of Famer might be able to throw for 50 touchdowns for the second time in his career.
Brady continues to show why he’s one of the greatest of all-time. The California native has an incredible tight end in Rob Gronkowski and a terrific slot receiver in Julian Edelman. Yet, Brady has nobody worth noting on the outside. He certainly does not have the talent around that Joe Montana enjoyed throughout his career. The same can be said about Peyton Manning, who has always had epic talent surrounding him at the skill positions.
Whether or not you root for the Patriots, you should enjoy watching Brady. We may never see his like again.
