High Value Quarterbacks

Andy Dalton (6,000): Hopefully, Andy Dalton enjoyed his week off, but he’ll have another “prove it” game as the Bengals come back off their bye and travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers.  Dalton is in my DraftKings fantasy football picks, based on his still very affordable price  and the fact that he has totaled three touchdowns or more (both running and passing) in four of the Bengals last five games. It’s a huge game, and Dalton will need to rise to the task if he wants to continue to prove his doubters wrong.

Ryan Fitzpatrick (5,200): Somewhat quietly, Ryan Fitzpatrick is putting together a very nice season for the Jets and even had decent numbers last week in the team’s loss to New England.  Fitzgerald threw for 295 yards and a pair of touchdowns while also adding 29 yards on the ground.  He has at least 14 DraftKings points in every game this season and at least 20 in each of the last two weeks.  This week, he and the Jets are on the road in Oakland as they play the Raiders in a late afternoon start.  Oakland is 24th in the league in limiting opposing QB’s, so look for FitzMagic to again be a solid value buy at only 5,200 this week.

Teddy Bridgewater (5,100): Bridgewater threw for 300 yards on Sunday completing 25 of 35 passes for 316 and a pair of touchdowns in the Vikings win in Detroit.  He has at least 249 yards passing in each of his last three games all of which have been started by breakout receiver Stefon Diggs.  With Diggs, Kyle Rudolph, and Adrian Peterson out of the backfield, Bridgewater is starting to get the kind of playmakers he needs to succeed in Norv Turner’s offense.  This week, he’ll face a vulnerable Bears secondary and makes an intriguing play on the cheap.

Week 7 picks: Ryan Tannehill, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Landry Jones
