Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers: Full highlights, final score and more
The Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers squared off in a tight divisional contest.
The Cincinnati Bengals spoiled Ben Roethlisberger’s return to action on Sunday afternoon, upending the Pittsburgh Steelers, 16-10. After sitting out since injuring his knee in Week 3 against the Rams, Roethlisberger showed noticeable ring rust. He totaled 262 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions. Big Ben leaned heavily on his old friend, the trusty Heath Miller.
Andy Dalton was little better than his fellow quarterback, throwing two interceptions to one touchdown (along with 231 yards). A.J. Green was his usual spectacular self, helping prop up an offense that was basically devoid of a rushing attack.
At the end of the day, this game was all about turnovers. Big Ben’s gaffes cost his team. Even bigger than the loss for Pittsburgh was an injury to running back Le’Veon Bell. Bell went down with a knee injury during the second quarter, and could be lost for the season.
As it has done all season, Cincinnati has proven that it can win when playing well, poorly and flat out ugly. All that matters, though, is that they’re 7-0, a significant margin ahead of their divisional foes, who are now 4-4.
