When the Pittsburgh Steelers lost ben Roethlisberger for a chunk of this season with a knee injury that could have been more serious than it was, the last thing they needed to do was re-live that pain. Unfortunately, that’s what happened on Sunday, when running back Le’Veon Bell suffered a brutal knee injury that might knock him out for most of the rest of this season.
Right away, the reports were not good — as you’d expect after an injury like that one.

The chances that he returns are not high at all, as he was carted off the field after being helped to the sideline in pain. This is the absolute last thing the Steelers need as they try to make a pushing the AFC Playoff picture. If Bell is lost for the season, the onus falls on D’Angelo Williams to carry the load for the rest of the season.
