San Diego Chargers at Baltimore Ravens: Full highlights, final score and more
The San Diego Chargers and Baltimore Ravens squared off in a great game on Sunday.
Hey, would you look at that, the Baltimore Ravens finally found the right end of game in a tight contest. After losing five of six games that were decided by six points or less, Baltimore was able to hit the game-winning field goal as time expired.
Philip Rivers had himself a day, despite the loss. Rivers passed for over 300 yards and had three touchdowns, and a rating of 126.1. Unfortunately, as has been the theme all season, San Diego could not get a daggum thing going on the ground. Melvin Gordon has been disappointing in his rookie campaign.
Baltimore outscored San Diego, 16-10 in the second half (10-3 in the fourth quarter) to take the game. The contest continued San Diego’s anemic road record on the season – 0-4 this year. As for Baltimore, the win didn’t come without cost – Steve Smith Sr. went down with an injury in what is likely the end to his career.
