Watch as the entire internet took Dez Bryant’s reaction to Ricardo Lockette’s potential concussion and ran with it.
Seattle Seahawks wide reciever Ricardo Lockette suffered a violent hit to the head this past Sunday during their game against the Dallas Cowboys and a reaction from Dez Bryant immediately after captured by cameras has social media going crazy.
According to a brief clip captured by Fox NFL that was uploaded to Vine (and other social media platforms) earlier Sunday (Nov. 1, ) it clearly shows an upset Bryant making some choice words to what other thought was the Seahawks players. But Seahawks Linebacker Bruce Irvine took to twitter to clear the entire situation up and put everything in context.
Dez was talking to the officials the whole time never said anything about lock

And here’s that reaction video if you haven’t seen it yet. Taken out of context, any Seahawks fan would’ve been upset.
In didn’t take long for the media to catch up to Bryant on the vine video gone viral and Dez Bryant himself immediatly squashed any rumors that he was shouting in the Seahawks general direction during a post game interview. According to Bryant
"I won’t ever, ever, ever wish bad on a player that’s been knocked down. Come on man. Stop F—— with me. Not once I said, “Hey, that’s what you get. I got on one knee and prayed for that man.”"
Sure, NFL players can be a bit rough around the edges in how they carry themselves in their personal lives and on the field when things get heated but when it comes to touchy subjects like potential head concussions, everyone knows that that’s serious business.
We live in an era where snippets of our lives can get blown out of proportion thanks to keyboard warriors on twitter, instagram, vine etc. and it’s our job as good social citizens to get the facts straight before potentially ruining a professional athletes career.
