Fresno State freshman walk on receiver Christian Pryor has been arrested for allegedly making a death threat

The Fresno State Bulldogs are in the news for the wrong reasons as a walk-on freshman receiver for the team has been arrested after allegedly making a death threat aimed at killing people on campus.

Christian Pryor, an 18-year old from Los Angeles who has yet to appear in a game for the Bulldogs, allegedly said he wanted to “take out my frustrations” and then had some very specific threats via social media;

"The post read in part (original spelling retained): “the time is here. @3PM I will release my frustrations. Tired of dirty looks, get rejected, nd being talked about bc how I dress. My choice of weapon M4 Carbine…”Huerta, who would only confirm at the afternoon news conference that the suspect is a Fresno State student, said campus police got the IP address of the student who sent the threat, along with additional information, and were able to track down the student. Huerta said investigators got a confession."

While Pryor was not originally named in an afternoon news conference by Fresno Police Chief David Huerta, he has since been identified as the person arrested in connection with the threat that sent a  scare throughout the campus.

Huerta said he was unaware of any connections to a similar incident which happened in Tempe, Ariz. as a threat was made there as well at Arizona State University. The threat at ASU claimed a gun attack would take place on campus at 12:30 p.m. on Monday. Thankfully no attacks were reported at either school.
