Jonathan Stewart goes Beast Mode for touchdown (Video)

Jonathan Stewart validated Ron Rivera’s decision to go for it on fourth down by scoring a beastly rushing touchdown.
Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart has heated up during the past few weeks, and he appears to not be slowing down any time soon. Stewart gave the Panthers a bigger lead against the Indianapolis Colts by plowing through the Colts defense for a touchdown, and he shook off defenders in the process.
This was done on a 4th-and-1 play, and Stewart scored his third rushing touchdown of the season. Here is a video of Stewart channeling his inner Beast Mode.
Stewart previously snapped out of a slow start in the Panthers’ comeback win against the Seattle Seahawks by rushing for 78 yards and two touchdowns. He followed that up by running for a season-high 125 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Panthers are known for their physical style of play, which has helped them start with a 6-0 record this season. Stewart is a big back that has a bruising style of running, and he appears to be helping the Panthers improve to 7-0. Panthers head coach Ron Rivera has also greatly helped his team become successful throughout the season, as he has lived up to his moniker “Riverboat Ron.”
Rivera is known for being willing to go for it on fourth down, and he has already done that twice against the Colts. The Panthers defense has inspired confidence in Rivera, and his gutsy decision to run the ball with Stewart paid off as they put the Colts in an even bigger hole.
