Well that was an interesting week, eh? The Denver Broncos once again proved one of the most indisputable facts in all of sports: Peyton Manning is unstoppable in regular season night games. What was supposed to be a heavyweight bout between Denver and Green Bay turned out to be the Broncos pushing their opponents all around the ring and then stealing Aaron Rodgers’ lunch money for good measure.

Elsewhere, Cincinnati continues finding ways to win. It’s fascinating to watch. Given their recent postseason futility, every game feels like the one where the Bengals will let it all slip away. Yet here they sit at 7-0, time and time again demonstrating that they can come through in the clutch.

In the middle ranks, the Vikings are a surprising 5-2 and now just one game behind the Packers in the NFC North. The St. Louis Rams are turning into a nicely rounded team, thanks in large part to rookie superstar Todd Gurley. And the Falcons found a way to lose yet another game the were supposed to win.

Oh, and the Patriots just keep on bulldozing through competition. At this point it’s basically like a scene out of Major League, only substitute Roger Goodell for Rachel Phelps.
