Jabari Parker was having himself a very fine rookie season last year when he sadly went down with a torn ACL early in December. Now, just less than 11 months after the injury, he’s making his return as the Milwaukee Bucks take on the Philadelphia 76ers.
According to Brian Windhorst of ESPN, Parker has been targeting tonight’s game for some time.
"Parker has been targeting Wednesday’s game for several weeks, as he made it a priority to make his return in a home game. The final hurdle was cleared Monday, when he was given the OK to play after he consulted with Dr. David Altchek, who performed the procedure on Parker’s left knee in January."
Tonight the Bucks will finally get their first glimpse of the #FullSquad that they believe is ready to #OwnTheFuture.
A player returning from injury is always a cause for celebration, but even more so when he’s been out for such a long time, and is such an important part of the Bucks’ future.
Jabari Parker is back, so let’s celebrate.
