Remember back in high school when you weren’t allowed to eat in class? But hey, school is long and boring, and depending on when your lunch period was, you might be going 4-plus hours without eating. So you did what everybody did: you brought some snacks to school.

Slyly you would sit in your seat, waiting until the perfect second right as the teacher turns their back. You’d grab a quick bite then act like nothing had even happened. It was genius and undetectable right up until you got caught.

Well apparently for Spencer Dinwiddie, old habits die hard, because he’s still pulling those same moves while on an NBA bench. In one of the best moments we’ve seen all year, Dinwiddie shows off his sneaky moves.

Right when the coast is clear, Dinwiddie takes a quick bite of his energy bar before slipping it back into the cup. Man, what a brilliant move to put the bar in an empty cup. No one cares if you’re drinking, so they’ll never stop to think about why you’re holding the cup.

What a legend. Spencer Dinwiddie is my new favorite basketball man.
