The Cincinnati Bengals strike first on Thursday Night Football against their arch rival Cleveland Browns, with an Andy Dalton to Tyler Eifert touchdown pass in the red zone.
The Cincinnati Bengals entered Week 9 undefeated and took the first step to being 8-0 by scoring first against the Cleveland Browns on Thursday Night Football. Quarterback Andy Dalton orchestrated a fake handoff in the red zone to draw in the Browns linebacker, leaving tight end Tyler Eifert in man coverage near the goal line for an easy touchdown strike for the Red Rifle.

Dalton has been a different passer in 2015, as he has one of the best offensive lines in terms of pass protection in the NFL. Dalton can make the accurate throw when he has time in the pocket. Naturally, it does help to have a top-five tight end in football that is only getting better in Eifert.
For the Bengals, every win is important in solidifying their place among the NFL’s elite. Not that beating the 2-6 Browns at home in The Jungle will go a long way in asserting their dominance, but this is a game the Cincinnati should win.
All the Bengals need to do is play their brand of physical football against Johnny Manziel and the Browns to move to 8-0. Getting on the scoreboard first certainly puts the momentum in the Bengals’ favor for the rest of the game. With weapons like Eifert and wide receiver A.J. Green, it’s easy to see why Dalton is having a Pro Bowl-caliber year for the Bengals.
