Kelly Oubre fined for grabbing crotch

After making an obscene gesture by grabbing his crotch, Washington Wizards‘ rookie Kelly Oubre has been fined for his actions.

Kelly Oubre hasn’t played more than a minute in his NBA career, yet he’s already walking around like one of the baddest dudes on the court….well off the court in this case.

After Bradley Beal’s winner against the San Antonio Spurs, Oubre felt the vibe so hard, that he was walking around on the bench acting like he make the shot.

Oubre proceeded to grab his crotch and gesture toward his teammate that made the incredible shot. Now he’s being fined for it.

Beal’s shot against the Spurs was an incredible one to win the game, and there’s certainly reason to celebrate it on the bench. However, there’s better ways to do it. For example he could have followed suit with the rest of his team and thrown his hands in the air in excitement.

Instead he decided that grabbing his crotch and acting hard on the bench was a far better idea. Well as a result of his celebration, he was fined by the NBA a nice sum of $15,000 for caressing his privates.

That’s a nice hefty fine for not even playing more than a minute yet. Lesson learned, rookie.
