Arkansas Razorbacks vs. No. 18 Ole Miss Rebels
It must be a good feeling for Ole Miss as the Rebels are the lone team to defeat the “mighty” Alabama Crimson Tide who came in at No. 4 — somehow — in the initial College Football Playoff rankings. Ole Miss has a long way to go in order to make an impression on the rankings, but two losses might just be one too many for this team if it wanted to stay in the race — legitimately.
Ole Miss has to hope Chad Kelly can protect the ball as he’s thrown 12 interceptions this season and the Rebels are 7-2 on the season. There hasn’t been much of a run game to speak of this season as Jaylen Walton has just over 500 yards on 5.1 yards per carry, but the Laquon Treadwell show has been fun to watch.
As for the Arkansas Razorbacks, it’s been a relatively forgettable season as they came into the 2015 campaign with high hopes and ranked in the Top 25, but Bret Bielema’s squad has fallen flat on its face. With a 4-4 record, Arkansas is looking for a bowl bid and to ruin some SEC contenders’ seasons.
After a 1-3 start to the year, Bielema has helped engineer a 3-1 record through the next four games and it seems like the Razorbacks are getting back on track. The loss of star running back Jonathan Williams at the start of the year seemed to hurt, but Alex Collins has picked up the slack.
