Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo may be one of the world’s best soccer players, but his Rihanna impersonation needs some work.

There was a time when it seemed Cristiano Ronaldo could do anything at a world class level, but it turns out his singing ability isn’t up to the same standard as his soccer skills.

In the upcoming documentary, Ronaldo, we get a glimpse behind the curtain at the life of the Real Madrid star, and below is a clip of his version of Rihanna’s “Stay” while on a flight with his Portugal teammates.

The movie follows Ronaldo for 14 months, which includes his Champions League win with Madrid in the 2013-14 season. He scored a penalty in the last minute of extra time to seal the win over Atlético Madrid.

As with everything he does, you can’t fault the effort. But it’s fair to say he won’t be quitting his day job any time soon. A day job he’s doing a pretty good job at. Ronaldo has 14 goals and two assists in all competitions this season and is looking to win his third consecutive FIFA Ballon d’Or.

Real Madrid are currently a point off of La Liga leaders Barcelona, who they host on November 21.
