Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp isn’t concerned with Crystal Palace’s record against the Reds.

While wins haven’t been flowing in during Jurgen Klopp’s young tenure with the club, they are unbeaten. Jurgen Klopp is looking to get a win this weekend against Crystal Palace who have been known to rain on Liverpool’s parade on occasion.

That history is new to Klopp, and he isn’t paying it any attention heading into their clash.

“It’s good to be new,” Klopp said, via Sky Sports. “Somebody told me about the special history with Crystal Palace but I feel nothing when I hear it.

“It’s only football. In life, like sport, you can lose big but have to react in the right way…strike back, whatever.

“If we can use this experience then we should do it but nobody has to be afraid because of this opponent, it’s not impossible to have a result against Crystal Palace.

“We have a good chance to win, that’s what we will start to believe. Let’s do it.”

The biggest challenge for Liverpool isn’t their history with Crystal Palace, rather their short week because of the Europa League tournament game on Friday, playing in Russia at Rubin Kazan.

Either way, Liverpool seems to be clicking under Klopp after roughly four weeks together, this game could serve as a springboard for the Liverpool era under Klopp.
