Cam Newton throws a dart to Greg Olsen for touchdown

The Carolina Panthers capped off a three-play 62-yard drive with a touchdown pass from Cam Newton to Greg Olsen.
A three-play drive that covered 62 yards took just under a minute and a half for the Carolina Panthers and was capped by a seven yard catch by tight end Greg Olsen from quarterback Cam Newton.
The big play of the drive came by rookie receiver Devin Funchess who hauled in a 52-yard pass from Newton on the first play of the drive, setting the team up inside the red zone at the 10 yard line.
Running back Jonathan Stewart ran a three yard gain on the second play of the drive before the touchdown to Olsen, who now has five on the season.
The tight end has been asked to step up his game since the team lost their top receiver Kelvin Benjamin to injury before the season even began. Olsen has responded well, entering Sunday’s game against Green Bay with 33 catches for 518 yards on the year.
The touchdown catch extended the Panthers’ lead to 17-7 over the Green Bay Packers. Cam Newton scored on a one-yard run earlier in the game and kicker Graham Gano connected from 20-yards out. Green Bay’s lone score came on a one-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Aaron Rodgers to tight end Richard Rodgers.
The grab for Olson was his 500th career grab.
