Former Chicago Bears wide receiver Joseph Anderson isn’t starving for food. He’s starving for success.

Anderson appeared in just nine games with the Bears in the 2012 and 2013 season and was never able to record a catch in a regular season game. He has been out of the NFL since and is determined to get another chance.

Anderson posted a photo of himself standing outside the Houston Texans practice facility with a cardboard sign that read, “Not homeless but starving for success and will run routes for food”. Anderson has been standing outside the Texans’ practice facility every day with that sign, hoping for another shot in the NFL.

No one can question Anderson’s determination and spirit on this one. For him to stand outside the Texans’ practice facility and hold that sign day in and day out takes a lot of courage. Anderson has been putting in some serious work in to get back to the NFL.

This would be a great story if Anderson signs with a team and is back playing in the NFL. The Texans could use some offensive weapons as their offense lacks playmakers. Maybe their front office personnel should take a step outside their building and have a chat with Anderson.
