Karlos Williams-Buffalo Bills

Bills’ rookie running back Karlos Williams is finally cleared for contact and ready to return to the field this week as the Bills take on the Dolphins. Before his injury, Williams was putting together an impressive start to the season with four touchdowns in his first four games.  In those four games, Williams took 42 carries for 226 yards and added 46 yards on five catches.

A lot of that production came while LeSean McCoy was limited by a hamstring injury, and it will be interesting to see how much time Williams gets now that McCoy is fully healthy as the Bills come off their bye week.   My guess is that Williams is still used as a change of pace back and gets enough touches to be marginally fantasy relevant, but it’s definitely a timeshare to watch  during this afternoon’s contest.

If Williams is getting carries he’s a nice value on DraftKings (4,000) and FanDuel (5,600) while also being available on 85% of ESPN waiver wires.  If you have a roster spot in season-long leagues, Williams is a nice stash and he should definitely be owned my McCoy owners who want an insurance policy.  Starting Williams this week is risky due to his undefined role, but he’s  one of the running back sleepers to take a look at adding coming into week 9.
