Check out the nice catch that Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen made during today’s game against the Green Bay Packers.
One of the marquee games on today’s slate of NFL games is the Carolina Panthers hosting the Green Bay Packers, hoping to run their record to 8-0.
The Panthers have been led by a great defense. However, part of the Panthers’ success has been due to Panthers tight end Greg Olsen, who has been a big passing threat with wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin missing the season due to a torn ACL along with the team just not having many options to throw the ball to. Olsen came into today’s game with 33 receptions, 518 yards and four touchdowns.
During Sunday’s game, Olsen continued to prove his worth. Check out this one-handed snag he made early in the 1st quarter that led to a big gain.
23 yards and he only needed one hand to do it.

Olsen went for 23 yards on this play to help the Panthers drive down field. They would later score to go up 3-0 on the Packers.
While these kind of plays don’t happen often, this kind of production from Olsen will be needed throughout today’s game to take out one of the NFC’s better teams in the Packers, who have a high-powered offense. Olsen should also be on his way to a Pro Bowl appearance when the season concludes.
