Marcus Mariota made Titans fans giddy by leading a spectacular comeback win over the New Orleans Saints.

Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota had quite a return to the field, as he led the Titans to a stunning comeback win in overtime against the New Orleans Saints. The Saints held a 28-20 lead in the fourth quarter, but Mariota tied it up with a touchdown pass before converting on a two-point play. He then went on to throw the game-winning touchdown to tight end Anthony Fasano. Here is a video of Mariota completing his triumphant return.

Mariota had been sitting out for the last two games with a knee injury, but he put together possibly his finest performance of his rookie season to date. The reigning Heisman Trophy winner threw for 371 yards and four touchdowns against the Saints, and he now has 13 touchdown passes on the season. Mariota had been relatively quiet since Week 1, but he reminded Titans fans again why he was selected with the second overall pick in the 2015 draft.

The Titans improved their record to 2-6, which puts them only one game behind the Indianapolis Colts since they currently hold a 3-5 record. The Titans may pull within half a game if the Colts are unable to beat the undefeated Denver Broncos, but they have a major challenge ahead since they will have to face the Carolina Panthers, who remained undefeated at 8-0 with a win over the Green Bay Packers.
